The Committee on Family Research (RC06 or CFR) is the Research Committee number 6 of the International Sociological Association (ISA). The International Sociological Association (ISA) is a non-profit association for scientific purposes in the field of sociology and social sciences.
The Committee on Family Research was founded in 1959, and as of January 2017 it had 327 members world-wide. The purpose of the Committee on Family Research is to encourage family research of high quality within and between countries.
